If you want a facebook event in your non-Facebook calendar, go to the event in Facebook, scroll right to the bottom and press export.

It'll give you the option to download, as an ".ics" file, which you can then import into your calendar, or if your calendar is linked to your email, you can choose to email it to yourself so you just need to open the mail in the inbox and press accept.
